| They were so good and always came back to us when we called. Well OK ... they did that "selective hearing" thing if we just yelled "Dotsie COME!" or "Jet COME!" ... but if we barely whispered, "Cookies!" they were back in a flash! |
| Dotsie and Jet had a wonderful "date" at the beach. Carmel's beach is one of the few where dogs are allowed to run "off-leash." And DID they RUN! There's nothing more beautiful than a Dalmatian running full-out ... except maybe two Dalmatians running full out ... and on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, which the Pebble Beach Golf Course overlooks. (They created quite a stir!) |
| After a nice long run on the beach and some playing in the waves, we headed to a dog-friendly Carmel restaurant called "The Forge in the Forest." Dogs are VERY special guests at this restaurant -- Dotsie & Jet were served a dish of water before their humans even got the menu ... and every waitperson had a pocket full of treats. They even have a dog menu! (Dotsie had the chicken strips, and Jet had his favorite, the "Quarter Hounder" -- both of which were cut up for them "tableside" and served FIRST, before their humans' meals arrived.) |
